Most brides come to us with the dress sorted, the venue booked and no real plan for the beauty side. That is normal, and it is fixable, but the one thing that consistently causes stress is leaving decisions until the fortnight before. Here is a timeline that works, built around what we see actually happen in the weeks before a wedding.
Six months out is the moment to secure your date, particularly if you are marrying in wedding season. Bridal bookings hold a stylist for most of a morning, sometimes longer once the party is included, so dates go early. This is also when to start any skin treatment that works cumulatively. Facials for acne, pigmentation or texture need a run of appointments to show a difference. Starting a course six months out gives your skin time to respond and time to settle.
Nothing new in the final two weeks. Not a facial you have never had, not a lash set you have not worn, not a brow shape you have not lived with. The week before your wedding is for repeating what already worked.

Three months out is for the trial and for any hair colour you want established. A colour done now has time to soften into something that photographs well, and if the tone is not quite right there is room to correct it. Bring your dupatta or veil to the trial along with a photo of your jewellery. Hair that has to sit under weight behaves differently from hair that does not, and that is far easier to plan for in advance than on the morning.
One month out, confirm the whole party. Mothers, sisters and bridesmaids all take time, and the running order for the morning depends on knowing exactly how many people need what. Groups of four to six receive ten percent off, seven or more receive fifteen percent, and for ten or more we price the booking individually. If a lash lift or brow lamination is part of the plan, this is the window, since both look their best after a few days of settling.

The final fortnight is for maintenance only. Threading and waxing sit best around five to seven days before, which gives any redness time to disappear entirely. Mehndi is usually applied one to three days ahead so the colour has darkened by the ceremony, and heavy bridal designs need several hours, so that day needs protecting in your schedule.
On the morning itself, the only real enemy is optimism about timing. Build in more room than you think you need, especially if photographs start before the ceremony. Tell us your first photograph time rather than your ceremony time and we will plan backwards from there. Our bridal makeup package, including dupatta and jewellery setting, is $650, and you can reach us on (347) 894-1757 seven days a week.
